You can get a specific graduate degree in History of Decorative Arts. If you want to do art restoration, then you need to Major and/or Minor in both Art History and Chemistry, then go on to get your masters in Restoration. Working as a rare book or archives librarian would involve Art History and library science classes. There are specific programs for this you should look into if you are interested.
